There are new and exciting opportunities for supported living for people with disability in NSW.
Following years of advocacy and campaigns by Family Advocacy, the NSW Government through Stronger Together 2 has committed 300 packages for the Supported Living Fund.
This included political commitments that the Supported Living Fund would:
- provide new money
- target families not in crisis
- enable people to have a home of their own with a
combination of paid and informal support - enable people to direct their own support.
