Family Advocacy is a state-wide independent
advocacy organisation which works with families of
children or adults with developmental disabilities.
Its aim is to achieve positive social roles for
people with disabilities through strengthening the
knowledge, role and influence of families in the
community. It supports inclusion as a philosophy
and practice.

MDAA aims to promote, protect and secure the
rights and interests of people from a non-English
speaking background (NESB) with disability and
their families and carers in NSW. It works to
improve the quality of life for people with
disability from non-English speaking backgrounds
and increase their participation and that of their
family/carers in community activities.
